An exciting and rare opportunity to work within the UK Music Industry, our client is looking for an experienced Diversity & Inclusion Officer to support the Head of DEI across the Group of Companies.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

- Coordinate, manage and support employee networks.
- Serve as a scribe for all employee networks, or related initiatives.
- Assist the Head of DEI in writing blogs, DEI news and stories to raise awareness of DEI topics and issues for both internal and external consumption.
- Support the Head of DEI in organising and coordinating high level events such as the Black History Month and PRIDE.
- Ensure that the employees and Members are aware of forthcoming DEI events.
- Help to facilitate open and honest discussions about diversity issues for the organisation to promote communication and understanding.
- Build strong internal relationships that allow for a deeper understanding of our DEI needs.
- Support the Head of DEI on maintaining external DEI accreditation.
- Suggest any DEI related initiatives or tools for the benefit of the organisation and its Members.
- Provide admin support to the Head of DEI as and when required.

Whilst previous experience within the Music Industry would be valued, we are keen to attract applicants from any sector and background. We’d like you to be able to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualities:

- Self-motivated; ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to support us through our DEI journey.
- 2+ years of experience in DEI and General Administration.
- Experience of taking minutes/notes during meetings.
- Experience with scheduling and hosting virtual events on video platforms such as Zoom or Teams and in person.
- Experience in managing DEI comms calendar and ensuring colleagues and members are aware of forthcoming events such as PRIDE.
- Supporting the Head of DEI on organising and managing high level event activities such as Black History Month and PRIDE.
- Good interpersonal, communication, organisation, and administrative skills, including interfacing with employees across multiple levels.
- Experience with the full Microsoft Office Suite - especially Outlook, Word, and putting together PowerPoint presentations and leveraging Excel.
- Prior experience with SharePoint is preferred.
- Creative problem solver who takes initiative and anticipates needs of the team and of our members.
- Good team player.
- Good attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Organisation and good time management skills.
- Prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Delivering work within deadlines and schedules.
- Providing admin support to the Head of DEI as and when requested.

**Desirable**
- 1+ year in Community Relations, Human Resources and/or Event Planning.
- Music publishing industry knowledge is not required.
