TARCG currently has a great opportunity for a proactive and motivated individual to join our client’s team for a **permanent position** of a Dispatcher/Ramp Agent based in Gatwick Airport.

The main purpose of this role is the coordination of all functions required to enable safe, on-time aircraft departure within their scheduled turnaround times.

**Responsibilities**:

- To effectively manage an aircraft’s turnaround, giving support where appropriate.
- Responsible for a safe, secure, and correct aircraft arrival to/departure from its parking stand. This includes overseeing the safety of the entire operation on the ramp area, involving all staff and third-party suppliers.
- Ensuring all staff members fully comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 when carrying out their duties.
- Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the safe unloading/loading of the aircraft.
- Assist with passenger services and passengers being directed to and from the aircraft in a safe manner.
- To comply with all airlines weight and balance documentation and load sheet regulations and to convey the loading instructions to ramp staff.

**Essential Skills/Experience**:

- Be well organised with good attention to detail
- Be proactive in approach to all responsibilities with the ability to work on your own initiative to specific deadlines
- Ability to recognise and deal with challenges promptly and efficiently
- Full clean driving licence
- Demonstrates qualities of self-motivation and professionalism, with the ability and willingness to take on extra responsibility

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to provide 5 years of full referencing history
- An enhanced Police Clearance Certificate deemed satisfactory to Airport Authorities
