Dispatch Allocator

Newrest has an exciting opportunity to join us as a Dispatch Allocator you will work in a team and work well under pressure and in new environments on a daily basis. All staff will be required to work in all areas of the business, bond store, equipment pack, dishwash, production, warehouse and despatch. Dependent on operational requirements and supervise the staff screening process.
**Title**: Dispatch Allocator
**Reports to**: Transport Manager
**Based at**: Newrest London Gatwick
**Salary**: £12.50 ph
**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
1. Ensure off Dock schedules are met.
2. Ensure all Inbound flights are decatered and departing flights are catered in time to meet current SLA’s.
3. Liase with Airline’s and their handling agents to ensure all departure times and current SLA’a are met.
4. Ensure block plans are checked and update the following day/weeks flights
5. Ensure block plans are followed and updated and Driver and TSA teams allocated to meet departure times and SLA’s
6. Ensure all dispatch documentation follows CAA and DFT regulations
7. Ensure the correct vehicles are allocated for the correct requirement.
8. Print tickets when out of hours aircraft or flight changes happen.
9. Liase with all departments in the event of aircraft or flight changes.
10. Constant communication with airline’s and their handling agents.
11. Full and clear Operational logs to be completed.
12. All products and equipment meet the required standard before leaving the unit.
13. Ensuring COSHH and HACCP, are adhered to at all times.
14. Adhere to COVID19 measures
15. Adhere to inflight services security compliance
16. Carry out vehicle security searches in accordance with both CAA and DfT regulations
17. Support other departments and teams when and where required to maintain production/dispatch schedule.
18. Adhere to Unit safety measures in place.

20. Adhere to clean as you go standard.
21. Interact with, colleagues, customers and clients in a professional manner at all times.
22. Comply with all unit Corporate, Social, Responsibility initiatives.
23. Any other duties as requested by your manager.
**Knowledge and Skills**
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in catering (desirable).
- The ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Excellent communication, team work and customer service skills.
- Good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken.
- Operational awareness, understand of HACCP, COSHH, DDA, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and DFT requirements. (Role specific)
