**What You Will Do** **as a Ramp Driver**

Let's change the world and make a difference.

Being a Ramp Driver, you will be working as a member of the Passengers Services team. You will be required to operate the ambi-lifts and minibuses on the airfield to the aircraft, transferring passengers with reduced mobility to and from the aircraft to the terminal building. You will also be required to drive electric buggies and push wheelchairs to assist passengers within the terminal building.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Drive the company ambi-lifts or minibuses ensuring that the vehicle is always safe and secure.
- Deliver or collect the passengers at the aircraft door and assist with the transfer into their seat or wheelchair through safe manual handling techniques.
- Carry out Customer Care Agent/Ambi-lift or Minibus Driver duties as directed by the Operational Management Team

**What We Expect of You**
- Previous experience in a customer service/ customer care environment
- Experience of driving a 7.5t vehicle or working at heights would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with an empathic nature
- Demonstrate excellent customer service.
- Basic IT Skills
- Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure.
- Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary.

**Essential for the role**
- Full Driving licence is essential with categories C & D (Licence must have been held for 2 years)
- Hold a driving license for more than 6 years for insurance purposes.
- You must be able to obtain and airside driving permit (Including passing a driving medical with a colour-blind test)

**Desirable for the role**
- Able to speak another language

**To work at any of our aviation sites, an airside pass is essential. We can provide this for you, so long as you have**:

**Able to pass a colour-blind test**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.84-£13.55 per hour
