**1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant**

Are you caring, compassionate and loving?

Do you have a level 2 Qualification or equivalent? Or are you working towards a level 2?

Do you have experience working with vulnerable children and social, emotional and mental health/SEMH?

Hello Education are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School in Gateshead to work with vulnerable children who have difficulty learning and dealing with their emotions. The right Teaching Assistant must be nurturing and caring as the children require mass emotional support. Working with special needs such as Autism, ADHD and challenging behavior.

Experience working with SEMH and primary aged children is essential.

**The role is full time and long term**

To be part of this team you will ideally need to have:

- A minimum of 6 months experience in a school
- Level 2 Qualification pending/ Level 2 Qualification or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Experience working with primary aged student
- Experience supporting children on a 1-2-1 basis
- Experience of supporting children with complex needs and SEMH
- Experience of working in a complex setting
- Kind, nurturing and caring nature

**Salary**: £75.00-£90.00 per day
