Location: Gateshead
Pay Scale: £80 - £100 per day
Start Date: September 2024
Contract Type: Full Time

The Role:

We are currently working in partnership with a well-resourced school in Gateshead that requires a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team in September 2024. The school is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual who can provide tailored support to a specific student, helping them to achieve their academic and personal development goals.

The Successful Candidate Will:

Be a qualified Teaching Assistant with relevant qualifications and experience working with primary school-aged children.
Experience working in a 1:1 capacity within the last two years is preferred.
Be able to support the student’s learning and help them achieve their academic and developmental goals.
Have strong behaviour management skills to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with all individuals, including pupils, colleagues, and parents.
Be enthusiastic and highly motivated, leading by example and encouraging the student to achieve their best.
