**Job Description** Your role at a glance**

Understanding of fund structures across EMEA including UK, Luxembourg and Ireland.

Understanding of regulatory and accounting standards within the UK, Luxembourg and Ireland.

Understanding of key stakeholder relationships including third party administrators, auditors and trustees/depositaries.

Understanding of fund valuations and components.

Completed, or studying towards a professional accountancy qualification such CIMA, ACCA or ACA

Strong experience within the financial services industry at an auditor, third party administrator or asset manager.

**What you'll be doing**
- Financial Reporting. To oversee and review the production of financial statements for LGIM funds, ensuring outsourced third-party administrators produce accurate financial statements within agreed timelines.
- Audits. To act as the primary Financial Reporting contact for annual audits of LGIM funds, such that recommendations can be made for continuous improvement and move towards a best practice environment.
- Regulatory Compliance. To collaborate with auditors and outsourced third party administrators, such that the financial statements are compliant from an accounting standards and regulatory standpoint.
- Relationship Management. To actively participate in the operational management of relationships with Fund Accountants (4 teams across 3 jurisdictions), auditors (3), such that the financial statements, distributions and tax filings to HMRC are completed in a timely, controlled and accurate manner.
- Investor Distributions. To oversee and review distribution rates for each paying scheme, ensuring appropriate calculation of equalisation, taxation and payments. To calculate and review complex divergence patterns on pricing and distributions, such that errors or issues with regards revenue apportionment between unit classes are resolved and corrected in a controlled manner.
- Taxation. To oversee and review taxation within the funds, ensuring that returns are delivered to HMRC on a timely and wholly accurate basis. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of regulations surrounding Corporation Tax, Income Tax, the Quarterly Instalment regime, and VAT. Also to maintain an understanding of ACS tax operations.
- Fee Oversight. To oversee and review the accuracy of fee accruals and payments for LGIM US Funds.
- Team Development. To manage, motivate and develop direct reports, in a manner that is consistent with the Company’s policies and procedures including the Partnership Agreement, to maximise the performance of the area.
- Projects. To assist the business area on any project work undertaken and provide advice and guidance to project teams as required

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge of the IMA SORP, UCITS, AIFMD
- Knowledge of accounting standards including FRS102/104, IFRS and Lux GAAP
- Knowledge of investment funds, the financial markets in which they operate, and financial instruments Ability to understand investment fund structures and financial instruments, how risks are mitigated and controlled, and ensure stakeholders are both aware of, and contribute to the success of that oversight.
- Knowledge of governance structures and required regulatory oversight, implicit in FCA, Central Bank of Ireland and CSSF Regulatory environments Ability to understand the context of Fund Operations oversight in the wider environment, thus having an appreciation of inter-relationships and knock-on impacts of events within the funds
