An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the HEIW Digital team as aCloud Support Officer(Band 7).

This role sits within the Digital Services team, within the Health Education & Improvement Wales (HEIW) Digital Directorate.

The post holder will be responsible for managing our Azure subscriptions within an overall All-Wales cloud tenancy, and work closely with stakeholders to review and monitor existing infrastructure and to scope, recommend, document, and deliver changes and requirements. They will lead on conversations with stakeholders to scope and implement requirements, and provide support, and guidance on cloud functions, processes, and costs in order to maintain our key services.

**The key objectives for this role are**:

- To ensure the operational day-to-day running of all in-house services and products via support and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.
- To continually review, monitor exiting cloud services and infrastructure, including current and projected costs.
- To horizon scan and work with programme/project managers to scope cloud requirements, functions, and budgets. This includes researching and discovering new ways of working within cloud and digital service delivery.
- To maintain good working relationships across the HEIW Digital Directorate and other stakeholders

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
