The role will involve working closely with the SLE team for all medical and dental staff within the Single Lead Employer Project.

To be considered for this role you will need to be an organised individual ideally with experience of recruitment and selection within the NHS.
Applicants should have excellent communication skills, with the ability to quickly gain and maintain credibility and rapport with managers and staff across the organisation. You will also need well-developed interpersonal skills and have the ability to deliver under the pressure of organisational and departmental priorities.

This post is fixed term for 12 months due to service needs.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

As part of the Medical Workforce team the focus of this role is supporting the team and Medical & Dental trainees across Wales.

Ensuring that NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership is fully engaged and represented at every suitable opportunity to engage with trainees.

Liaise with Health Boards / Practices / Health Education Improvement in Wales (HEIW) to ensure a smooth process is undertaken from onboarding to Completion of Training.

Provide core HR advice to Medical & Dental trainees and local Managers within the Host Organisation, as well as supporting the Medical Workforce team.
