GMS Security Services Ltd are recruiting for a night security officer for a client in Willenhall. The shift patterns are permanent nights, 4 on / 4 off.

Shift Times - 7.00pm - 7.0am

Applicants must have an SIA Licence

**Pay Rate**:£10.66

**The Role**:
An excellent opportunity for “can do, will do” applicants to deliver their potential and aspire for further career progression, training and potential promotion within the organisation. You must have good personal & communication skills, be able to work unsupervised and possess good team player qualities.

**Security Officer duties include, but are not limited to;**
- Working in the Transport gatehouse
- Booking in and out of vehicles
- Key Management
- Providing an onsite, professional security presence
- Providing a deterrent to criminal activity, theft and anti-social behaviour
- Providing protection for customers, property and staff
- Carry out patrols and search and emergency procedures including report writing
- Carry out other duties as agreed by client.

**To succeed in this important role, you will;**
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be computer literate,
- View punctuality as important,
- Have a professional demeanour with sound judgement,
- Have excellent customer service skills,
- Be capable of working on your own initiative,
- Be willing to work as part of a team of Security Officers
- First aid is beneficial but not essential.
