**Job Purpose**
The British Council Scotland SGSAH EARTH Scholarships is a programme run by SGSAH with funding from the British Council to enable international research collaborations between PhD and Early Career Researchers and Scottish HEIs and Scotland-based academic mentors, and external organisations, thematically focused on environmental arts and humanities and their interdisciplinary connections.

**Eligibility**
To be considered for this role of you must:

- Be able to commit 200 hours to the role from 16 Feb 24 (or as soon as possible thereafter) until 31 May 2024, including condensed period of full-time activity 15 - 26 April.
- Be registered at one of the SGSAH member HEIs and have been awarded a place on the SGSAH EARTH Scholarship Cluster programme.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
The postholder will be line managed by the SGSAH Director. Overall, the EARTH Scholarship Coordinator’s responsibilities include:

- Liaise with Cluster leads and SGSAH team to ensure effective development and delivery of the Cluster training programmes across Scotland, with particular responsibility for scheduling and logístical arrangements. The postholder will also be expected to accompany the participants for the duration of the Cluster programme 15 - 26 April 2024.
- Coordinate and manage all travel and accommodation for all participants for Cluster activity - within defined budget and deadline framework.
- Work closely with the Media and Communication Administrator to develop social media content e.g., blog posts and news items for the SGSAH newsletter.
- Responsible for ensuring all digital information is accurate and current, and compliant with copyright legislation.
- Liaise regularly with the SGSAH team on content planning, ensuring adequate records are maintained in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
- Contribute to reporting and evaluation methodologies to support funder and other reporting requirements in collaboration with SGSAH Director.

**Location**
The postholder will work remotely but will have access to a hot desk in SGSAH’s offices at the University of Glasgow. The full-time activity in the 2 weeks between 15 - 26 April will be in-person and will require travel (and accommodation) across Scotland. Formal meetings with the Director are likely to be held fortnightly (these could be via phone or video link).

**Terms and Conditions**
Salary will be Grade 6, £32,332 - £36,024 per annum pro rata.
This post is part time and fixed term until 31 May 2024. You must work a total of 200 hours over the duration of the contract.
