My client, a niche manufacturing business with a rich history and a well respected name, is seeking a HR Coordinator to join at this crucial time of the company’s development and evolution.
Looking to raise the bar of HR and the service it provides to its 100+ employees, the HR Coordinator will provide a completely hands on generalist service, touching on all aspects of the entire employee lifecycle.
With HR not having operated at the required level, the decision has been made to appoint a HR Coordinator that can provide a proactive approach to transactional HR issues to a diverse internal customer base. You will be the point of contact for staff in orderto ensure policy is legal compliant and processes are followed in order to provide a better level of service to employees (i.e. there is a great induction process in place but this is rarely followed by Managers - this needs to be addressed).
- Be a true HR generalist, currently operating as a HR Coordinator/Assistant;
- Be experienced in working within an SME, where there are shades of grey to navigate, and not everything within HR is established (changes need to be made);
- Have gained experience of a manufacturing/engineering business, or a business with a high proportion of blue collar workers;
- Be able to work at pace.
