**Finance Assistant (Sales Ledger)**
**Offering a starting salary of £26,000**

As our **Finance Assistant (Sales Ledger) **you will manage the Accounts Receivable and Cash management functions within the Finance department for the Snowdonia Group.

**Main responsibilities**:
Cash and bank management
- Ensure all bank accounts and Invoice Finance borrowing across the group are reconciled daily from HSBCnet to Navision.
- Ensure all bank accounts are reconciled to Navision and to the bank statement on a monthly basis and prepare documentation, including Navision balance, bank statement and a list of reconciling difference ready for review by the Financial Controller.
Accounts Receivable
- Monitor cash receipts from all customers across the group and ensure transactions are posted and allocated daily.
- Ensure all invoices and credit notes are sent out on a timely basis, including export.
- Obtain remittance for all cash receipts, liaise with commercial teams to identify debit note requirements.
- Circulate customer statements to the Heads of Regions and seek update on debtor payments. Support the Heads of Regions with obtaining any outstanding monies.
- Have tight control over the sales ledger and ensure any issues are tidied promptly.
- Support the financial controller with managing credit control risk and ensure adherence to the group’s credit control policy.
- Ensure terms and credit limits on the system are kept up to date.
Other
- Ensure all Snowdonia policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Support the financial controller with audit schedules
- Involvement in the expense claims process on the zeta docs expense system
- Support the financial controller with month end tasks
- Support the commercial team with monthly reporting analysis
- support with customer cards project
The following key skills will be an advantage:
- AAT Qualified or equivalent experience
- Sound accounts administration, accounts receivable and cash management experience is essential
- Create and maintain positive, collaborative, and trusting working relationships with a wide range of people within and outside the company.
