Nova Talent are hiring an experienced Technical Coordinator for a leading UK Confectionery Distributor, based across two sites in Loughborough and Sutton-in-Ashfield. This is a brand new opening to be part of an inspiring and dedicated team, reporting in to the Senior Product Technologist.

Hybrid Working (1 day per week) Mon-Fri 37.5 hours

**A typical day as a Technical Coordinator**:

- Daily management of all incoming Technical queries through the Technical inbox, coordination and escalation to other team members as required
- Respond to general enquiries and general information requests
- Complete customer specific technical documents ensuring commercial confidentiality is maintained
- Highlight any complaint trends to the Technical teams
- Generate or follow through to root cause and close out any Supplier non-conformances raised by the business
- Generate and communicate KPI’s to the business
- Request and log product specifications and relevant documents from suppliers
- Complete the review of product specifications and technical documents for live products at pre-determined intervals
- Build and maintain external customer and supplier relationships with both technical and product development teams

**What we are looking for**:

- Technical and quality experience within the food manufacturing
- Outstanding attention to detail with excellent administrative and strong communication skills
- Good relationship building skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- An understanding of the principles of GMP and Global Food Safety Initiatives
- Be data driven and analytical
- Must have access to own car and driving licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £30,000.00 per year
