Administrator Receptionist

Reed Education are currently recruiting for a Receptionist/Administrator, ideally with school-based experience for a wonderful school, based in Cirencester. The school need someone to start ASAP and the position and will be at least for a few weeks, potentiallylong term. The hours of work will be between 830-1530 Monday to Friday. The pay will be a market leading £12 per hour.
This school caters for children of all ages with a wide range of special needs, and it is expected that all staff will interact appropriately and sensitively with pupils and colleagues.
Under the direction and control of the Admin Lead to:
- provide a warm and friendly welcome to pupils, parents, staff and visitors and deal with their requests in a professional and efficient manner
- answer the telephone in a friendly, professional and efficient manner and record and pass on messages as appropriate
- maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding sensitive information and to ensure that complex queries or issues are conveyed accurately to senior members of staff
- ensure that the reception and waiting areas are maintained to the highest professional standards
- comply with the school’s safeguarding and health and safety procedures by ensuring visitors and staff sign in and out and are provided with appropriate lanyards
- manage the entry/exit fob system for visitors and parents
- accept and sign for deliveries as appropriate
- liaise with the Premises Assistant when deliveries arrive
- manage and monitor room bookings
- undertake photocopying as required
- charge and top-up mobile phones
- charge radios
- maintain staff pigeon-holes
- liaise with, and support, teachers to complete a daily check to ensure all class registers have been completed and entered on Integris
- manage Parentmail/+Pay
- use RM Integris for school administration and finance
- monthly stationery stock-level checks
- provide information packs (staff handbook) to new employees and student/volunteers
- verify and copy 3 forms of ID/DBS documents and scan to HR when offers are made
- provide new employee photographs to Milestone Receptionist for production of ID badges
- receive any school property (laptop, fob/badge) from leavers on their last day
- receive copies of staff training certificates and upload onto whole-school spreadsheet
- liaise with Local Authority as necessary
