VARIO by VELUX is our first, made-to-order, bespoke roof light solution for flat roofs. VARIO by VELUX is designed specifically for residential customers. We directly engage with consumers (B2C) and focus primarily on homeowners. However, we also collaborate with architects, installers and builders merchants.

Presently, we provide both supply and installation services in the UK, while supplying products only to Ireland (IE). The Vario team is a small team of 5, who are based at our UK headquarters in Glenrothes.

Your main role will be to guide and inspire our target audience (mainly homeowners, contractors, architects) as they work on their building and improvement projects, and encourage them to choose our solutions to bring daylight and fresh air to their projects. You will be supporting our customers throughout their journey end to end (Inspiration to Installation)

Vario by VELUX enables users to bring more daylight and fresh air through their roofs in creative ways via the offering of different shapes and sizes.

We are looking for a full-time (40 hrs per week) Sales & Service Consultant. Our team work in shifts, from Monday to Friday between 08:00 to 17:00. We offer hybrid working with 3-4 days on site in Glenrothes and 1-2 day from home.

**Your challenges**

Based at our office in Glenrothes, you will become part of the Vario by VELUX customer services department and work within a team of highly motivated and skilled colleagues.

You will have an important role within our business, delivering a high-quality service to a range of customers which include Builders Merchants, Architects, Installers and Home Owners.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:

- Listening to customers and understanding their project needs.
- Ensuring full understanding of the project's requirements, aesthetics, functionality, and budget.
- Inspiring customers with Vario by VELUX solutions and suitable product recommendations.
- Taking full ownership of the customer's journey and experience.
- Sharing your knowledge of Vario by VELUX products with internal and external customers
- Delivering a memorable experience for our customers; whilst providing comprehensive and accurate product and services information
- Enhancing our customers experience by recommending the correct product choices
- Dealing with escalated product based complaints, to produce workable solutions
- Building positive relationships with all levels of the organization in order to exchange information and follow-up on customer requests
- Recognizing commercial opportunities to facilitate business growth
- Navigation of systems and information tools to provide relevant and accurate information

- Hold well-developed questioning techniques to ensure in-depth understanding of customer needs.
