In Talent Transformation Consulting, you will be joining a rapidly growing part of the business that partners with our clients to help them with HR Transformation and transitioning to the Future of Work. This could be building a new people and workforce strategy, employee brand, employee value proposition, implementing a new HR operating model, redesigning end to end talent processes, development and capability pathways and everything in between.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Managing Consultant, you'll collaborate with Associate Partners and Partners to strategically shape the team's development. Your role involves leveraging commercial expertise to cultivate new business opportunities, particularly in senior client relationships within HR. Establishing market eminence will not only contribute to IBM's long-term growth goals but also involves building high-performance teams to support these ambitions.

You will be responsible for:

- Leading HR transformation consulting projects for clients to define their HR vision, strategy, and operational design. Specialising in areas such as shared services, process design, technology alignment, capability development, HR assessment, and business case development to ensure alignment with overall business and HR strategic objectives.
- Overseeing the design, development, and delivery of tailored HR interventions, frameworks, and solutions, covering areas such as learning and talent strategies, employee experience, reward and benefits, people technology, and recruitment.
- Leading multiple work streams with Consultants and Senior Consultants to achieve client objectives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
- Providing clients with insightful thought leadership on current HR trends, structuring HR functions effectively, and maximizing value through HR Shared Services, Centers of Expertise, and HR Business Partnerships.
- Offering expertise in market trends and financial aspects of HR programs to advise clients on cost-effective solutions.
- Planning, scoping, and shaping HR components of major projects and programs.
- Building strong working relationships across Consulting competencies and other IBM service lines.
- Playing a pivotal role in pre-sales and bid development activities.
- Actively contributing to business growth by identifying and delivering sales opportunities.
- Providing a compelling perspective on HR matters to enhance the credibility of the UK business.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Proven expertise in leading HR operations, HR transformation programs, shared services, and HR organisational design.
- In-depth understanding of both the strategic and operational drivers of the HR function, recognizing its significant value to any organization.
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing the seamless delivery of large, complex programs/engagements, encompassing planning, project governance, risk management, and financials to achieve agreed-upon KPIs.
- Stay current with HR and related market trends, displaying a passion for exploration and an eagerness to introduce innovative thinking into daily practices.
- Possess excellent facilitation, communication, and data analysis skills, with a natural ability to influence others.
- Proven track record in account and business development, showcasing the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities for expanding IBM's Talent Transformation practice footprint. Includes adept commercial and financial management of projects.
- Strong organizational skills honed through experience in managing, developing, and supporting team members.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas to all organizational levels. Effective leadership and management of key stakeholders and team members, adept at resolving issues, managing competing demands, and addressing conflicts.
