Junior Clinical Fellow

This role will enable a core/F3 equivalent level doctor to gain experience as part of our (specialty) team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
The post has been specifically designed for training level medics who would like to gain more specialty experience and consolidate their knowledge, skills and confidence prior to moving on to the next stage of their career.
You will work and train in a number of areas across Obstetrics and Gynaecology, including wards, outpatients and theatres.
There will be the opportunity to participate in teaching, audit, guideline development and service improvement projects.

The Royal is a busy and friendly district general hospital which provides almost all of the acute in-patient care for Chesterfield and the surrounding rural area of North Derbyshire.
The hospital is located on an attractive green field site two miles from the town centre. There is plentiful on-site parking and the hospital is easy to access by both rail and road.
Our services comprise maternity and gynaecology, trauma and orthopaedics, general medicine and medical specialties, acute elderly medicine, ophthalmology, ENT, oral and maxillofacial surgery, child health, urology and general surgery, anaesthetics and critical care and emergency medicine.
