We are proud to represent our client who is a fast-growing start-up consisting of a global team of 20+ people. Who are currently seeking a Business Development Manager with experience in B2B sales and customer relationship management, especially in an industrialsetting, who can convey their company message to new customers, understanding their need and pain points to deliver results and win new business. We are looking for someone who is driven and dynamic with a lot of initiative.

**Duties**:

- Define and develop sales/business development plan and strategy to meet ambitious revenue growth targets in the UK & Ireland
- Develop and refine sales pitch for a variety of customer types, working with the broader team to ensure consistency with brand and messaging (value propositions, storytelling ),
- Source and reach out to prospects to pitch the company and generate new opportunities and customers
- Support new leads through the sales process to ensure successful customer onboarding onto the company platform and effective delivery of services
- Closely cooperate with the local sales and service teams of our Original Equipment Manufacturer partners
- Negotiate prices and contracts with customers and support in solving problems related to customer orders or other customer concerns
- Analyse potential new segments and services for expansion within the UK & Ireland market
- Collaborate effectively with local teams in other regions such as Europe and North America to identify and scale new services across borders
- Manage and lead the local Service Coordinator
- Support the outreach and onboarding of new service partners to expand
- Support the broader team to develop success stories and similar sales/marketing content
- Flexible working with time to be split between home, our offices in East London, and customer sites (expected 40% - 60% travel within the UK & Ireland)

**Your qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in business development and/or sales
- Experience in a technical service environment is strongly preferred
- Experience working with OEMs in the manufacturing and processing industry would be advantageous
- Proven experience in successfully sourcing and reaching out to new prospects to generate leads
- Experience building and strengthening partner and customer relationships across all levels within a customer's organisation
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, with a thorough and consistent approach
- A high level of digital literacy to work with our digital platform, but also to provide input for its continuous development
- Experience analysing and understanding the drivers behind a customer's purchase decision to pitch offerings successfully
- Native/fluent English speaker with excellent presentation skills
