An opportunity for a Conference and Events Co-ordinator to join our team on a 12 month fixed term basis has arisen.

**About the Role**:
You will progress into managing a portfolio of around five events a year, likely in the form of scientific conferences. This will include the booking and monitoring of facilities, day-to-day management of the event registration system, coordinating the submission of scientific abstracts, collating event abstract book material, and producing logistical information for delegates and speakers. You will also have overall responsibility of onsite coordination to ensure the smooth running of events as well as providing onsite support for exhibitors, delegates, and speakers.

**About You**:
You will show effective and professional communication skills. You will demonstrate an organised approach to your work, managing a range of tasks, actions and priorities involved in the delivery of a portfolio of learning and training events multitask and work to tight deadlines.

As part of an enthusiastic team you will work closely with colleagues to fully understand our programme, and specifically the learning and training offer.

**Essential Skills**:

- Extensive event organising experience

**Other Information**:

- Salary in the region of £31,000 to £33,000
- Interviews are expected to take place week commencing 10th July.
