The Information Governance Team at DSFS Ltd which is located at the Chesterfield Royal Hospital, is looking to appoint to the role of Information Governance Officer

This role is ideal for someone looking to further develop or begin their career in Information Governance.

You will have a variety of work tasks including managing responses to internal and external information governance queries. Managing and coordinating internal processes and carrying out administrative tasks to support delivery of the information governance agenda.

You will support the administration of the Data Security and Protection Toolkit, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), and Records of Processing Activity (RoPA), as well as arranging and supporting internal meetings.

You will be given an opportunity to develop and expanded your skills and knowledge.

You will provide relevant Information Governance advice and support, both proactively and reactively to raise the awareness of Information Governance across the organisation.

**Produce training materials for all staff groups**: - this will include supporting specific training sessions to groups, such as in team meetings, as well as generic training materials from organisation.

Manage the administration of the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT).

Manage the receipt and processing of Data Protection Impact Assessment using a standard operating process.

Assist with the information assets and data flow mapping, carrying out training and audits in departments across the Trust.

Produce performance reports based on team activity data.

Support the organisation of the Information Governance Group meetings and other IG meetings as required.

Represent the service at Information Governance meetings and working groups as required.
