Job summary An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Governance Coordinator to work within the Family Care and Diagnostic, clinical support and Cancer services Divsion Main duties of the job As Quality Governance Coordinator, the post holder is responsible for supporting the implementation and development of quality governance / risk management across the Divisions .The post holder will provide governance specific administrative support for the Quality Governance team, Divisional leadership team and be responsible for producing and maintaining a range of electronic databases, dashboards, spreadsheets and reports to support governance/risk management processes.The role will involve liaising between departments and services within the Divisions and the wider Trust.
About us Chesterfield Royal Hospital is located in Calow, Chesterfield, which is situated on a green field site on the edge of the Peak District National Park.
It is home to the Crooked Spire and is also close to Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham, thus offering numerous choices for recreational activities and lifestyles.Chesterfield Royal Hospital was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1985 and since then it has continued to expand and modernise, currently holding approximately 550 beds.
We provide acute in-patient and out-patient care for Chesterfield and the surrounding rural area of North Derbyshire, serving a population of approximately 350,000 people.

Person Specification Qualifications and Training Essential RSA Stage 3 equivalent qualification or equivalent level of typing/document production skills Computer skills Educated to GCSE A-C (8-4)in English and mathematics Desirable ECDL (or equivalent) Office based training such as NVQ or equivalent Audio typing skills Experience Essential Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team Previous relevant administrative and clerical experience Ability to take detailed and accurate contemporaneous notes/ minutes Experience of working with frequent interruptions A good understanding and proven experience of computer packages Desirable Previous NHS experience Data comparison experience Staff training experience Experience of servicing meetings and accurate minute taking Skills and Knowledge Essential Effective communication skills Effective organisation and administration skills prioritisation skills Able to work to deadlines Able to receive instructions and act on them Able to retrieve, records and pass on accurate information (verbal and written) ability to prioritise workload Desirable Experience of creation and manipulation of databases Personal Attributes Essential Excellent interpersonal skills Professional smart appearance Adaptable to meet service needs Pleasant and courteous manner willingness to undertake further training as required Trust Values Essential Compassion, Ambition, Respect, Encourage
