A Quality, Yield & Performance Champion is responsible for ensuring goals are aligned to achieve the best optimum results by prioritising all key metrics throughout the packing process.

**Shift Pattern - 4 on 4 off, 7am - 7pm (Days)**

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Quality - Right first Time_

Work together with line leader & QA raising any issues preventing specification of finished product.

Coach individuals to achieve required quality standards of finished product by setting up doctors boxes to highlight defects.

Communicate specific defects to the teams, especially on “RFQ” jobs (challenging raw material)

Liaise with leaderships teams (LL/QA lead/SOL) regarding rework levels & put in place actions to reduce and achieve site target.
- Yield - Waste_

Monitor waste levels review waste bins/class 2 boxes to identify over grading.

Work with all colleagues to reduce over grading by live coaching, use of visual aids and new ways of working.

Remove verified waste/class 2 from the lines to calculate live yields
- Yield - Giveaway_

Monitor under & over weights and liaise with line leader to review reject levels.

Check machine / check weigher settings against standard settings - weight.

Identify cause of mechanically created/spillage weight rejections.

Ensure Give away process on B2 and B3 is set up and process is adhere too.

Monitor give away across all lines ensuring we are driving towards/ hitting the target.
- Performance - Right First Time_

Monitor pack presentation.

Identify root cause of rework.

Corrective actions, work with the teams to remove/reduce rework levels.

Check machine settings against standard settings - PPM’s
- Performance - Training & mentoring packing performance_

Coach & mentor underperforming packers to increase their productivity whilst not compromising on product quality, food safety & health & safety.

Ensure work stations are set up correctly.

Identify root cause of any issues preventing an efficient packing process.

Corrective actions, work with the teams to improve available time, reduce waste (Time, movements etc.).

Escalate to line leader &/or Leader - Operations any required performance improvement plans.

Feedback to training team any additional training requirements.

Work with leaders to reward above target performance.
