As a Line Leader, you will oversee, inspire, and coordinate the production line to ensure that daily output goals are met and customer orders are fulfilled to the highest standards of quality.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 7pm - 7amKey Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a dedicated production line to achieve daily output targets (efficiency & yield) while ensuring customer satisfaction with top-quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all relevant laws and regulations regarding Food Hygiene and Health & Safety.
- Verify that all finished products meet customer specifications and manage product release as necessary.
- Take responsibility for product quality and foster a culture where quality is a shared responsibility.
- Complete all daily checks and documentation accurately and promptly, including line safety start-up checks, handovers, H&S, and Fire Register.
- Encourage a Health & Safety-focused culture and maintain a safe, clean working environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with all relevant parties, ensuring thorough handovers are provided.
- Optimize the use of company resources while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Act as a deputy for the Shift Operation Leader when required.
- Ensure adherence to the 5S methodology and drive initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Monitor and document weights (finished product, class 2 & waste) as necessary, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
- Collaborate with the packaging team to ensure all labels and packaging are prepared in advance to prevent downtime and productivity loss.
- Confirm that all products produced are verified against the Matrix, ensuring accuracy in packaging, labeling, and product information.
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience in leading a small team effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Practical skills with the ability to work efficiently and methodically.
- Excellent teamwork abilities.
- Awareness of Health and Safety regulations.
- Flexibility in work approach.
