**Interim Accounts Assistant - Remote Working**
We have an exciting opportunity for an Interim Accounts Assistant to join us here at CILEX This is a 2-month contract to assist the Accounts Receivable team with the allocation of receipts and resolution of queries.
Responsibilities include:
- Process incoming receipts and post to Sage 200c system.
- Ensure daily bank sheets and unprocessed cash records are updated correctly.
- Chase customers for remittance advices.
- Support the group teams/functions with any Sales Ledger activities, establishing and maintaining good working relationships.
- Undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may be required from time to time.
What we’re looking for
Essential skills:
- Ability to demonstrate experience of working with accounting software packages in an accounts department.
- Able to demonstrate previous accounts receivable experience.
- Ability to demonstrate previous experience with using Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- The ability to always maintain a high level of accuracy.
- The ability to forge effective working relationships both internally and externally.
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of customer service excellence in both written and verbal communication.
Desirable skills:
- Knowledge of SAGE 200 would be an advantage.
