For our central London office, we are currently looking for a Finance Assistant. The person will report directly to the Finance Manager. This is an opportunity for enthusiastic and energetic individual who genuinely wants to learn and make difference being part of an exciting, challenging new-media marketing agency environment.

The core duties of the role will include (but not limited to):

- purchase ledger inputting
- sales ledger inputting
- reconciliations
- documents/spreadsheets update and maintenance

**Responsibilities**:

- Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions.
- Track and reconcile bank statements.
- Maintain relations with all vendors.
- Handle vendor queries and provide timely and accurate response to all A/P inquiries (vendor or internal)
- Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed.
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Check invoice approvals and prepare batches for input into our systems.
- Process employee expense reports
- Perform vendor / client account reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
- Provide administrative support.
- Provide support during annual audits.

Qualifications:

- Previous work experience as a Finance Specialist, Finance Assistant or similar role
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Knowledge of a second language (Italian preferable), a plus
- Knowledge of SAP accounts package
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes
- Intermediate MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
- Organizational and time-management skills, along with a problem-solving attitude
- Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors.
