**Job Description - Admin Assistant**

**JOB TITLE**: Administrative Assistant

**ACCOUNTABLE TO**: Registered Manager

**1. **To ensure the day-to-day operation of Organisation’s office facilities.

**2. **To carry out office administrative tasks, to include the distribution of paperwork between services, photocopying of documents and answering the telephone.

**3. **To manage the Organisation’s computer data base and word processing functions. To organise computer files and to ensure their regular and timely back-up according to documented procedures.

**4. **To manage and accountable for the taking of formal minutes for meetings, appraisals, supervision’s and formal disciplinaries.

**5. **Co-ordinating on-going staff meetings as per staff meeting yearly agenda.

**6. **The order of stationary

**7. **The completion and distribution of the staffing rota as per direction from the registered manager

**8. **To comply with all Policies of the Organisation, as appropriate.

**9. You must have**:
Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills and have the ability to:
Work with mínimal supervision

Audio type

Work under pressure and to deadlines

Prioritise work load

Work within a close team

To follow Instructions/Process

Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software

Qualifications in secretarial studies and or experience in care will be an advantage.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 21 per week

**Salary**: £10.70-£11.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Plymouth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)
