E Roster Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Maternity ERostering Team.
As Rostering Administrator, you will create, maintain and update rosters for staff within the Maternity Service using HealthRoster.
You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of rosters. We are a small team, based within the Princess Anne Hospital. We are friendly and enthusiastic about ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and patient services via collaborative rostering.
Applications for hours up to 30 hours are considered.
Following your initial training, the role can be office based within the Princess Anne Hospital, or hybrid working with a mixture of working at home and in the building when needed. Hours of work can be negotiated and are flexible.

This role promises to provide a broad overview of the principles and practices associated with good E-Rostering and safe staffing.
As a fluid and transient maternity system, with clinical situations that remain unpredictable, the members of the E-Roster Team must be responsive and adaptable to staffing requirements that are ever changing.
You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of rosters for the Maternity Service, assisting staff with queries, and teamworking.
You do not need to have formal rostering training or be able to use Healthroster as this will be shown, but the following skills and experience are needed:
- Experience in using Microsoft office - Outlook, Excel and Teams
- Experience in an admin or reception background in either a customer focused, or clinical environment.
- You will need to be adaptable, and flexible, and looking for a challenging but rewarding role.
- Compassionate and friendly as you be liaising with staff and managers about rosters.
- You will need to have good attention to detail, be good at problem solving, and able to use your initiative make decisions.
- You will need to be logical and good at problem solving.
