**Role Overview**:
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join the youth service team to support us in ensuring young people in Oldham have access to exciting and needs led educational and recreational leisure time activities that support their wellbeing. The role will lead our Oldham approach to ensuring we have a comprehensive Local Youth Offer Plan, working in partnership with youth providers from across all sectors. The role will be responsible for ensuring our compliance with all relevant statutory guidance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To lead on the delivery of a comprehensive needs assessment to inform and shape the Local youth offer Plan for Oldham, ensuring its compliance with the Statutory Guidance for youth services.
- To lead in the development and implementation of the Council’s Local youth offer plan and relevant strategies
- To lead on developing and managing participation events for Children and young people
- Develop and deliver training and personal development packages for young people, key stakeholders and partners from across the youth sector
- To work in partnership with colleagues from other agencies in the planning, development and delivery of the Local youth offer.

**Key Requirements**:

- A JNC recognised Qualification in youth work ( Level 3 or higher)
- Experience of working with children and young people - preferably in the youth work sector
- Experience of working in partnership with a range of professionals
- Experience of planning, organising and delivering consultation and participation projects
