Network HR have partnered exclusively to support with the appointment of an experienced HR Operations Manager for a high touch, global commodities brokerage based in London. This is a newly scoped role for the organisation but the primary focus will be to optimiseand deliver efficient and effective processes within their HR department which will include overseeing their UK and international payroll. You will also contribute to the HR strategy and core governance. The successful HR Operations Manager will report intothe CFObut will have exposure to a variety of stakeholders and senior leadership teams in this standalone position. This role will be an integral part to the firm’s growth trajectory over the next few years. Responsibilities will include:

- Administer the process for new employees and workers, for example; prepare contracts, offer letters and process all pre-employment/Visa checks.
- Conduct induction meetings with new employees and liaise with Line Managers to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities in the induction process.
- Add new starters to HRIS (BambooHR)
- Liaise with external parties, to ensure comprehensive background checks are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all payroll instructions and compliance are prepared and logged in time for the small, monthly payroll run and submitted to the Finance department
- Be the primary contact for queries on HRIS.
- Provide day to day advice to Line Managers and Employees on general HR related queries.
- Identify emerging process issues and trends to inform decision-making.
- Monitor and track performance on applicable indicators and address any issues on numerous programs such as the annual benefits enrolment program
- Conduct independent analysis to resolve HR related issues by breaking down problems, analysing data and information to provide insights, reports, MI and recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the HR team to provide advice and guidance to managers and employee within the required service level agreements and standard.
- Create and maintain HR’s electronic employee Personal files.
- Support with Reward administration during key annual activities

The ideal HR Operations Manager will have excellent attention to detail and will be able to build and maintain excellent stakeholder management in a standalone role.
What you will need:

- Proven experience of operating in a HR Operational position
- Commercially astute and outcome focused.
- Financial services experience would be advantageous.
- UK & International employment law legislation.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
