As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) you’ll deliver the people agenda for specific business functions at Santander SCIB UK, partnering and supporting the Front Office teams to ensure engagement with people priorities.

**The difference you’ll make**:
- Acting as first point of contact for the Business area/s for any potential people related risks and to ensure any known risks are managed as appropriate.
- Partnering with key stakeholders, building trust and confidence with the business areas to support delivery of the people agenda.
- Working with Peers, Senior HR Business Partners and AOEs to deliver the people agenda aligned to the Bank HR strategy.
- Using commercial understanding of the business to ensure all people activity that is planned is consistent with current and future business needs and is aligned to business objectives.
- Sharing knowledge and insight of business area and working on projects with wider HR function.
- Managing change and BAU activity within the allocated business areas, working with stakeholders and providing on-going support to Senior Business Partners.
- Supporting business / functional areas in complex disciplinary and grievance (via relationship with relevant HR areas) and ensuring key Business Stakeholders and Senior HR Business Partners are informed as cases progress.
**What you’ll bring**:
- Previous experience as an HR Generalist within investment banking (experience of working with Markets preferred.)
- A relevant degree or equivalent thereof
**It would also be nice for you to have**:
- Experience from within a high-change matrix organisation
- Excellent employee relations expertise
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, which is based at our offices in Triton Square, London located within easy walking distance from Warren Street and Euston. Our current expectation is at least 3 days in the office every week.

**How we’ll reward you.**
As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs. For part-time / contract roles, your salary, bonus (where eligible) and certain benefits will be prorated to reflect your working hours / contract duration.
- We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer
- 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year
