**Summary**:
Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) is looking for a well-organised and enthusiastic Administrator to join a busy and friendly team at the Medical Centre, Woolwich. DPHC is a vibrant and fast-moving organisation that aims to provide the very best primary healthcare to members of the Armed Forces and other entitled personnel.
**Job description**:
We are looking for someone to work as a member of the Medical Centre, which provides a comprehensive, efficient and effective service in accordance with Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Defence Primary Health Care (DPHC) policies and procedures. The aim of the Medical Centre is to provide Service personnel and reserves with speedy access to skilled effective help and treatment that is flexible and based around their individual needs. The approach is one of recovery and rehabilitation, ensuring that wherever possible Service personnel are returned to duty rapidly.
**Responsibilities**:
Main duties will include but are not limited to:
- Completing all administrative and receptionist tasks as required to support the team.
- Liaising effectively with doctors, patients and the National Health Service.
- Ensuring referrals are sent using electronic Referrals System (e-RS).
- Ensuring that hospital appointments are conveyed to patient as soon as possible.
- Ensuring that Referrals Register is up to date and where e-RS cannot be used, maintain a robust system for any non
- Choose and Book referrals.
- Ensuring that referrals are correctly documented on Defence Medical Information Capability Programme (DMICP) via referral activity.
- Ensuring the appointment folder is checked regularly.

**Selection process details**:
This vacancy is using Success Profiles, and will assess your Behaviours and Experience.

Please note this role is 37 hours per week, requests to work flexibly will be considered, taking into account business needs.
