**Become a Support Worker**

What matters to the people we support matters to us. It’s their life, their way.

We are looking for another male member to join our team working alongside a young man with Autism in his own flat near Bristol (BS10)

You will be working in this persons home, so it’s important you can connect, share interests and be interested. This young man enjoys outdoor activities, especially walking so you must be prepared to support with physical activities and be outdoors whatever the weather

To be part of this young man’s team you will need to have experience supporting people with Learning disabilities and Autism, and be able to demonstrate your understanding of supporting with complex behaviours or Positive Behaviour Support.

Above all you must have a great sense of humour, positive approach, be resilient and have a genuine desire to support him to maintain his quality of life and independence regardless of the potential barriers he sometimes faces.

This is a full-time role and you should be available to work shifts across the week and some weekends. This young man also has his own car, so you will need to be a driver and willing to drive their vehicles. For this you should have a full UK manual driving licence and have held it for at least 1 year for insurance purposes.
