Unitech Engineering Ltd is the leading supplier of high-quality stainless steel and aluminium equipment for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and other hygiene conscious industries. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced **Administrator** for our Design team.

Hours of work are 25 - 30 hours per week. Days and hours to be discussed at interview.
**Role Overview**:
Reporting to the Design Managers, you will be responsible for providing an all-round administrative support to the Design team.
**Main duties will include**:
- **Document Management**:
- Organising and managing documents including design plans, drawings, and project documentation.
- Ensuring version control and proper filing systems are in place.
- Editing manuals, CE documentation, etc.
- **Communication**:
- Facilitating communication between team members, clients, and external stakeholders.
- **Scheduling and Co-ordination**:
- Managing calendars and scheduling appointments or meetings for design team members.
- Co-ordinating logistics for presentations, and project reviews.
- **Project Control**:
- Draft project plans
- Follow-up plan with stakeholders
- **Data Entry and Record Keeping**:
- Inputting and maintaining accurate data related to projects, clients, and other relevant information.
- Creating and updating databases as needed.
- **Meeting Support**:
- Assisting in the preparation of materials for design meetings, including agendas, presentations and minutes.
- Co-ordinating meeting logistics and ensuring necessary resources are available.
- **Team Support**:
- Providing general support to the design team members as required, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- **Estimation Support**:
- Assisting in the estimation process for project quotes by gathering relevant information, analysing costs, and collaborating with the design team.
- **Quality Control**:
- Ensuring accuracy and consistency in all estimation related documentation and communications to uphold the quality of quotes presented to clients.
**Skills & Experience Required**:
- Must possess previous experience of working in a similar position
- Excellent communication, keyboard and IT skills are a must whilst a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach will be key.
- Must have excellent reporting, data entry, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be quality driven with attention to detail being paramount in everything achieved.
- Experience of balancing conflicting priorities and recognising the difference between urgent, important, and general activities.
- A basic understanding of engineering products and terminology would be an advantage
- Ability to work with others effectively
