The London Arts and Humanities Partnership (LAHP) is an AHRC-funded partnership between University College London (UCL), King’s College London (KCL), the School of Advanced Study (SAS), Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), London School of Economics &Political Science (LSE), Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, Royal College of Art and Royal College of Music.

**Main purpose of the role**:
You will have specific responsibility for matters relating to collaborations, external partnerships, staff and student led activities, cohort development, placement activities and their related processes. The LAHP DTP Senior Support Officer will also beresponsible for monitoring the LAHP DTP webpages, and monitoring and creating content for the DTP’s social media accounts and newsletter.

**Main duties & responsibilities**:

- Responsible for liaising with a variety of stakeholders (Deans, Heads of Department, Graduate Tutors, Departmental Administrators and academics) across eight institutions on a daily basis
- To develop and co-ordinate the LAHP Placement Scheme, working with a range of non-academic partners, students and careers staff across the partnership to initiate and administrate placement opportunities
- Co-ordinate the organisation and evaluation of the LAHP annual cohort building events including the welcome event and research day
- Develop and maintain processes for tracking and engagement of LAHP DTP alumni including a database of student publications, impact activity and destinations, and the LAHPmentoring scheme
- Act as secretary for the Collaborations & Partnerships Committee
- Responsible for updating and creating content for the LAHP website, social media channels and the LAHP newsletter
- Responsible for managing the DTP shared inbox with the LAHP DTP Support Officer
- Responsible for monitoring expenditure on the funds set aside for the various activities described above, processing of expenses/invoices etc

**Desired person specification**:

- Educated to degree standard, or equivalent, or substantial experience in a relevant field
- Strong understanding and previous experience of customer services principles, ideally relating to HEI-staff and students
- Knowledge of social media and website management
- An understanding of equality and diversity issues, especially how they relate to students
- Confidence in dealing with external stakeholders on a daily basis
- Proven ability to produce results with regard to establishing external working partnerships
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
