Here at Sheffield Hallam University, we are recruiting for a Researcher to join a small and highly motivated group of experts working within the Applied Imaging theme; a recently established research group within the Centre for Applied Health and Social Care Research (CARe). Our research programmes span a range of invasive and non-invasive imaging modalities with the primary goal being to improve health outcomes for patients through early disease diagnosis and outcomes prognosis. Our research portfolio in healthy humans and patients is linked to the wider university research networks of theHealth Research Instituteso bringing together academics and professionals to deliver research and to progress innovation and knowledge exchange in health and wellbeing across the lifespan. In this research project, our focus is on the potential for skin perfusion imaging using infrared thermography.

Insight and experience in public participation and engagement in research would be an advantage. The Applied Imaging group are welcoming and inclusive, seeking a talented individual to join our team. We work with a team of highly qualified and experienced clinicians, engineers, computer scientists and statisticians providing an interdisciplinary environment to enrich your existing skills. This role is a funded by the Medical Research Council (MRC) for 12 months.
