**_We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Operational Support Administrator to join our logistics team. _**

As an Operational Support Administrator, you will play a crucial role in assisting operational managers with various tasks associated with running our logistics operation. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining high service standards, fostering strong links with all departments in Bestway Retail, ensuring compliance, capturing and recording relevant data, and facilitating effective communication with internal departments and external customers.

**Your main responsibilities**
- Provide day-to-day support to the Logistics department, ensuring smooth operational functioning
- Maintain high standards of service delivery, aiming for continuous improvement
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with all departments within Bestway Retail
- Assist in running a compliant operation, adhering to relevant regulations and internal policies
- Capture and record all necessary data accurately and promptly
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external customers, ensuring clear and concise information exchange
- Demonstrate a polite and courteous demeanor, promoting a positive attitude and resolving problems effectively
- Ensure prompt and accurate communication is delivered to customers as required
- Conduct debrief sessions at the end of shifts with drivers, verifying and checking all paperwork for accuracy and completeness
- Notify customers of any delays or failed deliveries, providing new estimated time of arrivals (ETA), and promptly reporting to the business
- Maintain and update logistics Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Quality Control Key Standards (QUICKS)
- Process all paperwork, confirming and handling claims for shortages, damages, and returns after verifying stock with Goods Out and Stock Controllers

**About you**
- Experience working in a busy office environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and resilience, with the ability to develop productive relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions within your scope of accountability
- Knowledge of health and safety practices related to working in logistics is desirable
