Our client are seeking to recruit on a temporary basis for 2 months starting asap

As a Temporary Conference Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Conference Centre Manager in the smooth operation and administration of conferences and functions. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain invaluable experience in a prestigious environment.
**Responsibilities**:
**Administrative Support**:
- Respond to enquiries for literature, sending out appropriate information, and following up on leads as required.
- Handle bookings for meetings and functions at the Centre, including processing conference bookings on the Conference Diary System.
- Correspond with conference/function organizers in preparation for events.
- Assist in the organisation of exhibitions.
- Produce accurate weekly function sheets for all teams within specified timelines.
- Conduct weekly function sheet meetings with Heads of Teams.
- Arrange and conduct tours for clients and potential clients around the Centre.
- Process bedroom accommodation bookings on the Room Master computer system.
- Monitor the availability of audio-visual equipment, ensuring requirements are met in-house or obtained through hire companies.
- Assist the Conference Centre Manager with Sales & Marketing initiatives,
- Provide Reception cover if required.
**Collaboration**:
- Work cooperatively with other Headquarters teams and Centres on projects and initiatives with shared interests.
**Additional Responsibilities**:
- Undertake any other reasonable duties requested by the General Secretary.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Previous experience in administrative or clerical roles preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proactive and adaptable with a strong attention to detail.
