**Job summary**:
This role is part of the Forestry England IT Team and will report to the IT Service Co-Ordinator.

This role will provide system administrative support for Joiners, Movers and leavers along with project support, 3rd party contract and supplier support.

**Job description**:
- We have an IT user community of around 1800 people who are geographically spread and delivering a broad range of business functions covering forestry management, timber harvesting, recreation and events management, and management of visitor centres. Excellent IT is essential to help meet our corporate targets and to develop our future we have established a new IT team to design and run the service.
- We have developed a modern service based around Cloud.
- This role provides an ambitious and skilled administrative professional with an excellent opportunity to join our IT Service Desk team at an important time as we support our rapidly growing customer base through a period of significant IT transformation.
- This is an important role within the team so we need someone who is friendly, enthusiastic, approachable, communicative and adaptable; able to work closely with colleagues as well as under own initiative with mínimal supervision. You will enthusiastically take ownership of tasks and work from beginning to end, working collaboratively with colleagues where required methodically and at pace with excellent attention to detail.**Person specification**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring the accurate management of key activities both for projects and business as usual deliverables.
- Documenting key procedures.
- Management, including procurement, of key elements of print.
- IT hardware and disposal contracts.
- Update and administration of Joiners, Movers and Leavers process & procedures.
- IT Service Desk and end-user systems administration.
- Work with IT Service Co-ordinator to maintain accurate asset records.
