**Accounts Payable Assistant**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our clients head office near Scunthorpe. The role is an exciting opportunity for someone experienced in accounts payable to join a well-established forward-thinking company.

**Purpose of the Accounts Payable Assistant Role**:
The purpose of this role is to oversee the day-to-day transactional workload whilst supporting the team.

**Accounts Payable Assistant Responsibilities**:

- Undertake the daily transactional workload
- Manage their inbox in an efficient and timely manner
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Be responsible for sending statements to the correct department and chasing for approvals
- Build great relationships with suppliers and approvers
- Chase credit notes and attach to invoices
- All related administrative tasks

**The Perfect Accounts Payable Assistant will have the Following**:

- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent eye for detail
- Numerate
- Problem solver
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Real team player who is happy ‘to get stuck in’
