**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Smart Metering Transformation Programme as a Customer Experience Advocate. This is a key role, focussing on positive customer experience and communication design for a smarter future.

Is your passion a career in developing customer experience, communication and marketing? Do you enjoy using data to identify trends to help solve problems, encouraging positive behavioural change and building lasting relationships with customers? Then this opportunity will hit the mark.

You’ll gain invaluable hands-on experience in the analysis and design of unrivalled customer experience, looking at customer journeys, customer research and supporting communications. Your eye for detail, innovative mindset and strength in written communication will support us in driving excellence in this area.

You’ll work closely with the Customer Experience Lead and the wider Customer Strategy team to act as the voice of the customer and ensure our customers are at the heart of everything we do as part of our smart meter rollout.

**About you**

We’re looking for you to have:

- A flair for creativity and strength in written communication skills - can write plain English.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical / solution focus and a drive to improve performance
- Able to work to challenging deadlines
- Experience of analysing performance data and translating into meaningful management information
- Ability to approach engagement in new and exciting methods
- Fully conversant in the use of Microsoft Office packages
