**About the role**:
Working closely with the Compensation & Benefits Manager and the wider HR team, the Payroll & Pensions Advisor will manage and operate the payroll and give expert advice and guidance on all aspects of payroll and pensions legislation, compliance and processing across ENGIE UK.

ENGIE are recruiting for a** Payroll and Pension Advisor **based in **one of our UK offices** (London, Leeds, Newcastle)**.** This is a Permanent role, working full time Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Payroll_
- Responsible to ensure that the monthly payrolls are accurate and processed in a timely manner
- Work closely with our third party payroll provider to ensure payroll cycle cut-off dates are met
- Input all relevant information in the Payroll system (iTrent)
- Provide advice and expert support on all payroll procedures and queries
- Pensions_
- Point of contact and workflow liaison to ensure timely compliance with requirements of external advisers and agencies
- Point of contact for Group members and Trustees regarding pension benefits and administration matters
- Receipt, review, processing approval and ensuring payment of external invoices compliant with ENGIE systems and processes including necessary quarterly reporting
- Ensuring compliance with required money flows and filing of returns with external agencies for the Sponsor and the Trustees

**Key Requirements**:

- Experience of payroll end to end processing
- Educated to a degree level in relevant discipline
- CIPD Qualification highly desirable
- Experience in UK DB and DC pension provision
- Experience of managing third party providers of pensions services is desirable
- Knowledge of payroll including Year End and statutory returns
- Knowledge of UK final salary and defined contribution type pension plans
- Conscientious, practical approach with strong problem solving skills
- Ability to manage large workloads and work to deadlines
- High standards of quality, accuracy and attention to detail
