My client based in Ecclerigg, Broughton in Furness is seeking a temporary Office Co-ordinator initially for 8-12 weeks, however could be extended for the right person.

Background

You'll be part of our clients Facilities team, working at their Head Office reception at Eccle Riggs in Broughton-in-Furness.

You'll be the first face that people see when they arrive at Eccle Riggs - whether that's visitors or employees each morning as they come to work so you'll be friendly and approachable. As part of the Facilities Team, you'll take pride in keeping the offices tidy and well presented. To succeed, you'll be very happy rolling your sleeves up and dealing with whatever the day throws at you. You'll need to be flexible, highly organised and comfortable working to very high standards.

**Responsibilities**:
As part of the Facilities team, you'll:

- Keep the reception area and meeting rooms at Eccle Riggs tidy and presentable
- Monitor the Facilities Inbox
- Take internal and external phone calls, dealing with all requests in a friendly but professional manner
- Help schedule daily work for the cleaning and maintenance teams
- Muck in with the everyday running of our sites, such as tidying kitchens, emptying dishwashers and arranging meeting lunches
- Create a superb environment for our employees - heating and lighting have to be right and furniture has to be comfortable
- Work collaboratively with our Estates team to ensure nothing's missed
- Keep an eye on stock levels and purchase consumables as required (so the biscuit tin's never empty)
- Help with the arrangements for our company social events so they're a great success

Attributes

High expectations and excellent customer service will govern everything you do. Confident, positive and fun in your approach (even slightly quirky), you'll have an exceptional eye for detail and really care about the small stuff.

You'll also need to be:

- A great team player who's highly self-motivated
- An excellent communicator, able to converse with senior staff and develop trust
- Organised and meticulous, so standards don't get a chance to slip
- Proactive - someone who spots what needs to be done before everyone else
- Able to work under pressure and juggle things
- Not afraid to work extra hours or roll your sleeves up to get the job done
- A confident driver - you'll use a pool car to travel between our various sites in the South Lakes as well as off site from time to time

The hours of work are 08.30am-17.00pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour (unpaid) for lunch.
