Employee Relations Specialist

**Job Scope**:
We are looking to recruit an Employee Relations Specialist to manage a diverse caseload, provide proactive and efficient ER services, and foster positive relationships within our dynamic team.
The Employee Relations Specialist will manage a complex caseload encompassing sickness absence, disciplinary, grievances, workforce investigations, appeals, and various cases. You will be reporting to the Head of Human Resources.
This hybrid role requires 60% onsite presence with flexibility, necessitating access to a vehicle for travel.
As a crucial part of the HR team, the Employee Relations Specialist will establish positive relationships, align with the company vision and values, and provide proactive and efficient ER services to on site managers and stakeholders.
The role involves advising on HR policies, procedures, and Employment Law regulations, becoming a trusted advisor for managers during organizational changes and culture shifts. The Employee Relations Specialist will provide guidance on reorganization structures, mitigate risks during redundancy processes, and offer support on employee relations matters, ensuring timely closure of cases. Collaboration with Trade Unions and a proactive approach to relationship-building internally and externally are key aspects of this role, reflecting a commitment to delivering effective ER services aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.
**Do you have?**
- Professional qualification, CIPD Level 5.
- Proficient in ET1 and ET3 Tribunal processes, with expertise in organizing chronological bundles
- Work experience in a unionized, multi-site environment.
- Managing diverse caseloads, including sickness absence, disciplinary, grievances, workforce investigations, appeals, and cases
- In-depth knowledge of various HR issues, such as redundancy, consultations, gross misconduct, safeguarding, and dismissals
- Proficient touch typing skills and mastery of Microsoft packages, including Excel.

Pay: £34,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
