In this role, you will provide a proactive and flexible range of Therapy Assistant Support to the Therapy Team and Residents within Badby Park whilst driving best practice and ensuring compliance with company procedures, documented policy and employmentlegislation.

As a Therapy Assistant, you will contribute to the assessment, monitoring, evaluation, and modification of structured activities to measure progression and ensure effectiveness.

**As a Therapy Assistant your responsibilities will include**:
- To assist with the efficient running of the 12 week timetable - to support the Lead therapy assistant and qualified staff in terms of administration, questionnaires and communication to each unit.
- To participate with weekly timetable changes sessions for relevant unit.
- To manage your own timetable effectively with guidance and supervision from qualified staff.
- Run individual and group sessions as necessary with or without qualified staff support.
- To support the Lead Therapy assistant and represent the Therapy Team with non-timetable related events via the events committee, ensuring to integrate this alongside the 12 week timetable and ensure sufficient activity is planned when groups/sessions arereduced.
- To attend monthly peer supervision with other TA's as well as monthly group supervision/training with relevant professional to enhance individual skills/knowledge.
- To complete equipment audits. Review results and link in with relevant professional regarding any concerns or shortfalls.
- Help ensure any planned admissions have been added to the timetable and liaise with relevant professional to ensure all equipment is accessible and in place.
- To co-ordinate any equipment needs, as necessary, with units and qualified staff
- To ensure all equipment remains in good working order and report any difficulties
- To deliver Therapy in line with the timetable overseen by qualified professionals.
- Remain up to date with all mandatory training and supervision.
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- The ability to work with a range of individuals living with long term neurological conditions
- Previous relevant experience
- Any other specific skills which can be utilised in this setting: Art & Craft, Horticulture, Cooking, Music
- Previous experience in organising/facilitating social events and activities
- Any relevant certificates i.e., NVQ courses and skills that would enhance the delivery and diversity of therapeutic activities
- Strong knowledge of best practices within a similar setting
