SF Recruitment are looking for a Purchasing Administrator to an excellent client based in Hucknall.

Purchaser reports to the Head of Procurement and primarily responsible for supporting the procurement team to drive out cost and ensuring Purchase Orders are raised and approved in a timely manner and negotiating with suppliers to ensure the purchase of goods, materials, components, and services are done so in a way that meets the operational needs of the business, paying particular attention to price, risk, quality and delivery.

Job Duties:

- Support the Head of Procurement in the delivery of agreed strategic objectives in line with the Procurement Strategy and Roadmap.
- Work closely with Finance (Purchase Ledger) to ensure invoices are paid on time and any invoice issues are resolved.
- Facilitate requisitions and where required raise Purchase Orders on behalf of the business in line with the Procurement policy and procedures.
- Ensure consistent Purchase Order processes are always undertaken and adhered to.
- Communicate with internal customers to ensure they are kept appraised of the status of their requests.
- Analyse suppliers spend data regularly to identify cost saving opportunities and efficiencies that contribute to the savings plan.
- Undertake quotations and tenders on behalf of TK Elevator and manage them in line with Procurement Policy and procedures.
