**Hours and weeks**:37 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year).
Actual salary £29,106 - £30,904 (based on 39 weeks per year).
This is a fixed term contract, we currently have funding secured for up to 3 years.

**Job Purpose**:
Under the direction of the Head of Post-16 you will provide interventions and support to promote and improve the wellbeing of all students in Post-16. The Wellbeing Lead will be responsible for running the Wellbeing Hub. This unit will consist of a dedicated room for counselling, group activities and Enrichment activities to support wellbeing.
**Responsibilities**:
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Developing and leading student interventions aimed at promoting and improving the wellbeing of all students
- Ensuring that the Wellbeing Hub is fully utilised and impactful raising the Wellbeing of all Post-16 students
- Overseeing the delivery of student interventions, where these are delivered and the outcomes of these interventions
- Leading the identification of at-risk students and pupils exhibiting signs of mental ill health
- Monitoring and providing support for students identified as 'at risk'
- Providing regular reports to the Head of Post-16 and yearly reports on strategic plans, outcomes, and impact, attending governor meetings as required
- Signposting students and parents to national and local mental health services and referring students to NHS services or equivalent where appropriate
- Coordinating the mental health needs of students with Sixth Form
- Providing drop-in support and mental health first aid for students who are experiencing a mental health crisis
- Developing links with local mental health services
- Making sure all staff can recognise signs and symptoms of mental health needs in students and what they should do if they have a concern
- Sharing basic information about students mental health needs with other members of staff where appropriate, so that they can be supported throughout the school
- Providing MDEF (sponsor) with regular reports, updates, outcomes, and analysis regarding the Wellbeing Hub taking GDPR into account
- Attends meetings or training sessions relevant to job requirements through MDEF (sponsor) or school
