This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing Client Relationship function as an Account Director, responsible for the Retention and Growth of our existing client base.
FMG is a leading outsourcer of motor claims incident management to the insurance, fleet, and leasing marketplace.We have a large portfolio of 500+ existing clients which are proactively managed by the Client Relationship team.
You will lead the way in challenging the business to continually deliver the highest standards for our clients and develop new strategic solutions. You will be the key stakeholder in the strategic leadership of your clients, leading the relationship managementof the client, tasked with the development of strong relationships at operational and strategic levels.
Proactively developing accounts to meet financial targets, cross-selling FMG products and services, and winning new fleets/policies is a huge part of this role and you will be responsible for the successful retention of clients within a sustainable framework.
**You will be tasked with**:
- Building Relationships - Building and managing strategic & operational fleet relationships with key client stakeholders to establish FMG as a trusted partner.
- Client Development - Devising and implementing growth and retention strategies for your portfolio of accounts, identifying opportunities for additional services and improved profitability.
- Strategy - Develop strategic client action plans to win, retain & grow business, creating transparency of activity and timelines.
- Business Acumen and Commercial Awareness to enable you to better understand business issues, adapt and remain flexible during times of change, and provide quality insight as to how we can achieve goals and ensure business success.
- Customer Experience - Develop client activity plans to support the clients’ key objectives and meet FMG key performance metrics.
**About you:**
- First and foremost, you are an experienced Account Director/Senior Account Manager that can demonstrate a combination of a strong commercial background with a successful career within the automotive industry, specifically accident management, insurance,repair and recovery, fleet, or the automotive rental sector.
- You MUST be a strategic thinker who can create, develop, and support the implementation of solutions that achieve clients’ objectives.
- You will be an articulate and credible individual with excellent communication and relationship skills, along with strong influencing and persuasive skills to optimise business opportunities. You will be communicating on a multi-level basis from a CEO toa Driver.
- You will be either intermediate or advanced level in Microsoft - Word, Excel, and especially PowerPoint.
- A real ‘people person who can build trust and support across a wide network of clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Experienced in developing and executing successful client strategies including operational process improvements, transactional growth, increased product penetration, and new solutions.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, can think outside of the box, and able to use own initiative.
