Medical Education Co-Ordinator Band 4 - 22.5 hours available - CIC

The main purpose of the post is to provide administrative coordination support to the senior Medical Education Team to develop all educational opportunities/activities in Medical Education. To co-ordinate Medical Education, including learning provision for medical students, trainee doctors, trainers (Clinical and Educational Supervisors) in all specialties across the Trust. This includes all aspects of administration including induction co-ordination, timetabling, room bookings, record keeping and general office management. A different working pattern may be required at peak times e.g. inductions and when medical students are on placement.

To support the team to develop all aspects of Medical Education activities in the departments’ portfolio, including quality assurance, governance and project management.

Contribute to the development and continual quality improvement of the Medical Education Department.

Provide admin support to the Associate Directors of Medical Education to assist with quality management reporting linked to GMC requirements and income received into the Trust from HEE via the and Learning and Development agreement and education contracts
