An exciting opportunity has arisen In the Early Intervention In Psychosis team for a Physical Health Lead to join our team. We are seeking a colleague that has previous experience in physical healthcare and also welcome Nurse Associates to apply.

The role involves the assessment of the physical heath of service users referred to the Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Team and the provision of associated interventions either on an individual or group basis to service users. Accurately recording the assessments and interventions required and working closely with the management team to ensure quality standards are met.

The EIP team is a community-based service and therefore the post-holder will be required to travel across Nottinghamshire to support the needs of service users, their family members and carers.

The Physical Healthcare Practitioner will work as part of the Early Intervention Team providing socially inclusive mental health services to individuals experiencing first episode psychosis.

The post holder will have a specific remit to support achievement of the physical health standards for people with a first episode of psychosis as outlined within national guidance by engaging service users in routine physical health checks and support the person to work towards personal physical health goals in order to improve their physical and mental health

**To liaise and link with the full range of staff including**: General Practitioners, Consultant Psychiatrists, In patient care, Voluntary Agencies, Social Services, Statutory Agencies
